Grab the opportunity!

Why do we enter uitm shah alam? Coz we wanna study. Since we got the chance, why not take the opportunity to learn as much as you can, right? I remember I used to want to take counselling as my minor during f4. I've been aiming to take TESL since f4 and I targeted to take counselling as my minor. I really loved psychology at that time. I was confuesd whether to take TESL or Psychology 4 my degree. Then my teacher said I can take both. Take TESL as my major and Psychology as my minor. So I was relieved.

B4 I enter uitm, I had a chat with another tecaher. He told me to take Literature as my minor. I remember telling him that I will take counselling coz I really love counselling. Then, I entered UiTM and realised my love towards Literature. I can't explain why I love Lit so much but there's no way I'm taking counselling over Literature. It's like I've found my passion in something and surely I wouldn't trade it with something I'm interested to learn. So yeah, I'm happy with my decision of taking Literature as my minor. I'm also proud of my friends who take the road not taken and register for music as their minor. They're gonna be great, I'm sure.

Then there's d 3rd language thingy. B4 dis I wanted to take French coz I've learned French b4. It was pretty easy coz the writing is romanized. Then someone influenced me and I fell in love with Japanese. Suddenly I'm speaking Jap to the manga freaks and anime freaks at d faculty. It was fun. I had my confusion here. Should I take French/Jap? My heart says take Jap but I feel like taking French so dat I don't have to worry bout my grades later. I changed my decision many times. Kejap French kejap Jap.

One fine Sunday, I was doing my classroom observation report when Seyha told me the KLC Talentime will be at night. We got this exrinsic motivation to finish up our reports so that we can watch the show. It was a pretty big extrinsic motivation for we finished our report during Magrib, quickly print and bind the report and arrived just in time b4 the show starts. When I listened to Kak Mizah speaking Korea I was like, "Oh my God...that is so cool!". She actually spoke like a true korean! Then the show started and I really had fun. Suddenly someone said to me, "Nak amek Korea la!". And I was like, "yeah, why not?".

So there comes a bigger confusion. Jap or Korea? French is already out of topic coz I realised that since I get the opportunity to study something new why not study something I don't know rather than polishing what I already have? So the confusion comes and I dunno how to choose. I imagined myself taking Jap and having fun in class but if I ever heard any of my friends speak Korea damn I'm gonna be jealous. If I take Korea then I'm afraid I'd regret not taking Jap since I wanted to learn Jap since f1. I asked many people and after some time I realised how much passion I have in Jap. I really wanna take Jap. I was so sure of my decision but I dunno why something still feels imcomplete.

I opened Tuan's Jap book and got a headache trying to understand the grammar. Then I sat down, relaxed and took a deep breath. Suddenly an image appeared in my head and I smiled widely. I could see myself holding a Korean book, together with Seyha. I dunno why at that moment, suddenly I was sure of what I wanna take. It's hangugo people, not nihon-go! I dunno what came over me but as soon as I decided to take Korea I was happy and I no longer feel bad if I dun take Jap. The next day, d 1st thing that I told Seyha was my decision. I was dancing happily and saying, "I'm taking Korea~". Haha!!

This semester sure made me decide on a lot of things. I just realised how spontaneous I could be in deciding things. I'm moving out of my comfort zone next sem. I'm gonna be in group C with those i'm not familiar with. Everyhting's gonna be new to me, even 3rd lang class. If I were to take Jap I won't be worried coz I have d basic knowledge bout d language. But Korea is totally new to me and i'm taking the challenge. Since I'm taking Korea as my 3rd lang, I have a new aim. I'm aiming to be in one of the talk shows in Korea where they gather people from all over the world who could speak Korea fluently and have a chat. It was totally cool. I was so proud to see a Malaysian representative there! I'll make sure that seat will be mine one day. U bet I will. =)

I told Najah the other day how happy I am to be in UiTM. These are the things that I can get in UiTM and I'm grabbing the opportunity. I can't wait to learn all the Shakespeare stuff, Asian Literature stuff and what not. 3rd lang will be fun too, I'm sure! I guess although I dread going to Kesatria next sem, there are many otehr things that I'm looking 4ward to! *wink*

Life~

Can't believe all the adventures that I faced this semester. Day after day I came to realise how beautiful life is for some people and how bitter it is for other people. Sometimes we can't help being sad after all that we faced in life. However, as long as we have friends we shouldn't be sad. I know this time that I have is very precious. I wnat to use it to make the memory sweet. I want my friends to know how much I love them. Maybe they alreday know but I dun want them to forget that fact.

Love u babe!

Love you all!

Happy Birthday bb dear! =)

I'm not a perfect friend but I try to be one. Love you all!
